Generally glass tiles are for home decorating such as for your floors, Kitchen walls as a kitchen backsplash or for your bathroom however if you would like you can use them as a countertops as they are heat resistance and do not absorb water.
Kreep in mind Some glass tiles may scratch. I stronlgly recommend using a cutting board when working in the kitchen if your countertop will be glass tiles.
